Appalachian State University has always went all out for Homecoming, and as part of our festivities we hold an annual LipSync Competition between Residence Halls, Greeks, Clubs, and University Funded Organizations. Last night was the preliminary portion of the competition and my residence hall, Doughton, has made it through to finals!! The final competition is held this Friday (Oct 9th, 2009) night at 6pm in front of the entire student body! I am sooooo proud and excited for my hall! *fingers crossed* just maybe we'll win! The theme for this year's homecoming is SOLID GOLD, and Doughton decided to make the theme of our lipsync performance "Solid Gold- Dancers through the Decades". I play the gold-digger at the very beginning of the routine. haha!
