Can I just say... "WOW I'm Busy!" It seems like every day I'm getting a call asking, "Can you do this?" or "Are you busy on this date?". I always reply saying that I will be glad to do whatever, which in return leaves me with absolutely no free time. But, it's ok because I love it. I feel like everything I'm doing is just pushing my life in the right direction.
I have a goal right now, and many of my friends and family know exactly what that goal is... that dream of mine. I can't help but think back to a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Pursuit of Happyness. Will Smith said, "You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period." Well everyone, I'm going to go get it. Period. Just know that I have my eyes on the prize. I want to be a well-accomplished reporter, and I will be. I want to graduate from Appalachian with honors, and I will. I want to make people remember who I am by the actions and charity work that I do in my community, and trust me... they will remember me. Some would say that I sound cocky and arrogant, I say it's confidence. Because, if you don't believe in yourself then who would? 2010 is full of wonderful things I'm sure of it, and I know this year is going to be worth remembering. Why? Because I am going to make it worth remembering. Period.
