Finally done with Exams! YAY! It feels so good to be home for the holidays, and I can not wait to make Santa a big batch of cookies. I might just have to steal a few... but I'll still be on the nice list... right? The past few weeks have been busy, but oh so much fun. I was given the wonderful opportunity to go to the Miss North Carolina Christmas party in Raleigh. It was a blast. I loved meeting all the girls and seeing some which I have gotten to know and love already. I have also enjoyed riding in to spectacular Christmas parades. It is such a joy to meet new people throughout my community and just see how supportive they are of me. I am truly blessed. I am so grateful to now have time to spend at home with my family during this festive season. It makes me so happy to see my little 5-year-old brother who still believes in Santa Clause just light up as he talks about Christmas Eve. The economy may be down and sure that has an effect on things, but my spirits are still high. Christmas is such a joyful season, and I am so excited to spend this time with all of the people who mean the world to me.
